I grew up in Bristol, Tennessee – the Birthplace of Country Music. My grandfather taught me how to play the fiddle when I was about 12 years old. He also taught my dad and my brother, so it was really a blessing to have all of them (including my mom) play with me and encourage me in my growth.
I’ve played in many local bands like Sapling Grove and Breaking Tradition. I got my first professional job with The Boohers, and then went on with Beth Stevens and Edge (formally known as the Stevens Sisters) and the ETSU Bluegrass Band.
