Justin Moses currently performs with The Dan Tyminski Band playing fiddle & dobro and singing harmony vocals. He has been playing music since the age of six and is also an accomplished instrumentalist on mandolin, guitar, banjo, and bass.
Justin began playing with his family’s gospel group in churches soon after learning his first chords on the mandolin. As a teen he entered regional contests, winning several on multiple instruments.
After graduating high school he helped form the band Blue Moon Rising and spent three successful years with them before moving on to became a founding member of the band Sierra Hull & Highway 111, performing at several prestigious festivals and events with Sierra in 2005.
Justin released a solo instrumental CD entitled “Dusty Roads” in 2006 which received favorable reviews in numerous Bluegrass and acoustic publications. He has spent the past couple of years doing recording sessions with a variety of artists and performing with bands Blue Moon Rising and Newfound Road. Justin made his first appearance on the Grand Ole Opry in February 2008 with Dan Tyminski, and was a part of Dan’s CD “Wheels” which was released in June of 2008.
