Band: Harmony Grits

Harmony Grits have been favorites on the acoustic music circuit for 25 years. Traditional Bluegrass instrumentation within a freeform musical style gives the Grits their distinctive hard-driving high-lonesome sound married with a mellow west coast Country-Rock sensibility.
While certainly having a deep respect for hardcore Bluegrass, the band springboards from there to include elements of Blues, Folk, Rock and more. They have been described as a cross between Bill Monroe, Woody Guthrie and the Grateful Dead. All five members sing and write songs, and any fundamental Grit-esque experience would include their great originals, many well-chosen old chestnuts, and epic instrumental jams.
